Job Description Summary

This role reports to the Finance Manager with focus on business partnering, record-to-report activity, and tax/statutory oversight. This role will work with multiple stakeholders from internal operations team to the external auditor.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

Business Partnering:

  • Support as a business partner to the operation team to assist in driving business initiatives, growth, and profitability

FP&A and General Accounting:

  • Support the pacing rhythms within Finance, with other operation leaders and all other key internal & external partners/stakeholders to ensure proper communication of key performance indicator of the shop’s metrics
  • Lead PTG cash flow monitoring activity and mitigate risk from that area
  • Drive data integrity to ensure accurate and complete set of data as basis for all reporting needs
  • Lead month-end closing such as posting of journal entries related to cost accruals, statutory entries, and intercompany balances
  • Lead in monthly reporting such as balance sheet deep dive and accounts aging reviews
  • Maintain and/or review accounts reconciliation as per GE criteria
  • Review billing, tax documentation prepared by contractor

Compliance and Process Improvement:

  • Support the compliance with GE/local regulatory requirements for tax, treasury, and statutory reporting purposes.
  • Support accurate and timely filing/completion of all regulatory documents, internal/external audit, and tax assessments
  • Identify areas of improvement in terms of processes, system, and management
  • Support simplification projects such as (but not limited to) reporting automation, closing processes, etc.

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you would possess

  • At least 3 years of experiences in a financial position
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
  • The ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
  • Good communication skills as this role will require you to work closely with cross functional teams and business leaders
  • Strong knowledge on basic local finance and tax regulation
  • SAP/ Accounting system proficiency
  • Analytical and project management ability
  • Have a strong desire to support company value by create an inclusive & diverse work culture
