Mama’s Choice is the leader in natural & halal products for a young Mama & family and we are looking to hire talented Retail / Offline Business Development Manager

Along with our mission to make Mothers feel less worry on a motherhood journey #KurangiWorry. We develop a wide selection of product categories, starting from personal and skin care for Mama and babies, supplement and also household products by using only the best and non-toxic ingredients.

We have an exciting role for you! In addition to supporting our current business, as Mama's Choice grows bigger and better, you'll also be highly involved in growing the new business vertical that we recently launched. In this role, you'll get to experience 0 to 1 and also 1 to 10,000. If you are interested in entrepreneurship, direct to consumer business model and have a love for problem solving, this position is for you!


About the role

  • Create a strategic plan for retail expansion to address new customer and revenue growth opportunities
  • Conduct market research and reach out to landlords/tenant managements for offers and negotiations
  • Lead the launch strategy of stores for the company
  • Drive the launch and expansion of the business and ensure a very fast roll-out with high an eye for detail and quality
  • Manage the day to day retail/offline operations within the company ; Oversee employee work on a daily basis and ensure standards and guidelines are followed
  • Maintain good relationships with external parties such as landlords, malls, department stores, contractors, etc.
  • Analyze store performance and feed relevant and insightful information to other departments such as Product Development, Branding, and Marketing.
  • Ability to propose and execute an opening or closing of stores/ counters depending on business needs and strategies.
  • Rental negotiations and feasibility study for existing retail locations during contract renewals and/or crisis-management.

What are we looking for

  • 2+ years of experience in retail and preferably have had prior credentials as brand manager, retail manager, business development or related experience.
  • Ideally have had prior experience building offline outlets/store from scratch
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high goals and KPIs by delivering quick results
  • Great management and people-development skills.
  • Effective communicator and an influential team player.
  • Data Driven ; Detailed oriented, highly analytical and distinctly logical ; Overall a problem solver
  • Good analytical skills and experience generating performance reports
  • Have a self-starting attitude – the ability to work independently and take initiatives
  • Have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneo
