Your Role:

As Legal Officer, report directly to Legal Manager of Indonesia, you will support the Business and Divisions in Merck Indonesia in terms of internal and external legal concerns. You are expected to make sure the company is in complete compliance with the law by implementing proactive strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify problem area, and suggest alternative course of action to avoid any legal trouble and mitigate risk as much as possible . In daily basis, your responsibilities are but not limited to:
  • Process documents such as drafting and reviewing any type of agreements, SOPs and any other legal documents for divisions/business needs.
  • Continuously research relevant regulations or legal resources to stay up to date on all current laws and make well-educated legal recommendation for company business interest.
  • Provide day to day legal support, such as advices or recommendation to divisions/business or stakeholders.
  • Manage the reporting and application of company licensing through OSS ( online single submission ) system.


Who You Are:
  • Minimum a Bachelors degree of Law.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the legal department. Experience in healthcare industry, including hospital is an advantage.
  • Having a good law knowledge of all applicable laws, rules and regulations.
  • Experience in using OSS system is preferred.
  • Digitally savvy and familiar in using Microsoft Office app in daily basis.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skill, as well as able to work in individual and in team.
  • Exceptional working attitude like fast respond and fast working pace while maintaining the quality of working result, having ability to plan, organize and work under pressure.
  • Must be fluent in English, both speaking and writing.
  • Wiling to work on a contract basis, minimum 1-year contract (will be extended based on performance appraisal).
