Job Description

  • 7 years of experience in consulting, partnerships, business development, and sales
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Indonesian fluently to support and communicate with clients


Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Experience building business via C-level or executive leadership engagement
  • Experience with TV, news, online service, ads operations, and digital business generation
  • Ability to navigate complexity/changing needs and adapt with flexibility and resilience
  • Excellent consultation and analytical skills regarding agreement, technical, and financial issues

About the job

The mission of the Online Partnerships Group (OPG) is to support the world’s information by enabling content creators and nurturing an open digital ecosystem. The Large Partner Solutions (LPS) team within OPG builds high-touch relationships with partners across different industries, including news, media entertainment, gaming, and apps.

As a Strategic Partner Lead, you will manage Google's publisher advertising solutions across Google Ad Manager, AdMob, and AdSense with our partners in Indonesia. You'll engage with C-levels in companies to advise them on their digital transformational journey using Google's ads suite. Ads-based business generation is a key business growth source for our partners.

You will navigate internally within Google, building an effective network to bring the relevant resources, and best practices to partners. You will work with ads business generation experts who can counsel publishers regarding how to best use Google's publisher products and services. You will work cross-functionally, partnering with product managers, go-to-market specialists, counterparts in other markets, and local advertiser-facing teams to ensure the growth of business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of large strategic web publishers, broadcasters, and mobile developers in Indonesia with a focus on maximizing Ads business growth using Google Ad Manager, AdSense, and AdMob.
  • Build strategic relationships with partners, develop a thorough understanding of partners' business challenges, and propose business transformation ideas and creative ways to enhance partners' businesses using Google’s solutions.
  • Navigate complexity across partner organizations and stakeholder management while building relationships at both a strategic and operational level.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team in Indonesia and provide thought-leadership to define country-level strategy for ads business generation.
  • Understand partners’ business goals and collaborate with cross-functional teams at Google on opportunities/joint plans to innovate and drive valuable outcomes for our business and the broader digital ecosystem in Indonesia.
