The Fulfillment Pricing team is an established team responsible for Pricing of all Grab verticals (Transport, Food, Express). We make an impact by driving quality financials for Grab, helping millions of drivers with their livelihood, and building Fulfilment Pricing products.

We are looking for a talented engineer to build a world-class Pricing product with us. We believe a successful candidate should have experience with building products powered by distributed systems , even if you lack this and have other great experiences we’d still love to hear from you. We are searching for more engineers to join our expanding team in Indonesia and help take our product to the next level. In return, you will get an opportunity to be a part of our great engineering team that is creating amazing services and tools which serve millions of passengers, driving partners, and fellow grabbers.
The Day-to-Day Activities
Lead the system design for Pricing products.
Design and write with cutting-edge software considering the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of Pricing’s range of critical services.
Mentor and Coach engineers across the organization.
Work with the engineers to explore and create new architectures geared towards scale.
Raise the bar for code and design reviews to maintain high development standards
Engage in service capacity planning, software performance analysis, tuning, and cost optimization
Collaborate with product and experience teams to define and prototype feature specifications
Work closely with infrastructure team in building and scaling back-end services as well as performing root cause analysis investigations
Debug and modify complex, production software
The Must-Haves
You have Heart, Hunger, Honour, and Humility
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields with at least 7 years of software development experience preferably.
Strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures
Familiarity with running large scale microservices and understanding of systems internals are a must-have
You must be a good coder (language agnostic), but plus points for experience with Golang
Strong understanding of system performance and scaling
Possess excellent communication, sharp analytical abilities with proven design skills, able to think critically of the current system in terms of growth and stability
