Job Description

1. Part of the SEA Legal team, supporting Indonesia legal lead;
2. Draft, review and negotiate a variety of agreements including service, development, advertising, entertainment, influencer and promotion agreements and NDAs; assist with updating contract models and templates as necessary;
3. Collaborate with various stakeholders in Indonesia to provide legal support for various projects and initiatives;
4. Manage mandatory reporting, licence renewal and other regulatory compliance for ByteDance's operations in Indonesia;
5. Advise on various compliance and litigation matters concerning products and business campaigns in Indonesia.

1. Must haves:
1.1 At least 7 years' experience;
1.2 Fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia;
1.3 Indonesia law bachelor's degree;
1.4 Indonesia permanent bar license (a PERADI member);

2. Should-haves:
2.1 Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following areas: e-commerce or marketplace; payment getaway services, e-money, e-wallet; technology; intellectual property; data protection and data privacy;
2.2 Private practice experience will be favourable.
