Job Description

In this role, you will lead and manage Batam site layout team. You will coordinate the site production layout strategy and drive overall layout optimization.
In your new role you will:
  • Lead and manage site layout team. Possesses deep knowledge with >7 years experience in Industrial Engineering focusing on Personnel, Capital, Material, Area Efficiency & WIP Flow improvement.
  • Coordinate and define site production layout strategy, able to develop coherent concept and methodology that fits business needs.
  • Design overall Batam site production layout that fulfills area efficiency target and flexibility to secure revenue growth.
  • Project management for layout implementation. Responsible for project roll-out according to schedule, budget, manpower, and quality.
  • Drive design standardization for workplace, jigs & fixtures for all sites to maximize productivity, reduce wastefulness and production issues, are cost-efficient, and ensure high product quality.
  • Coordinate and work cross-functionally with FM, ESH, IT to improve good 5S and safe workplace, and ensure execution is according to cleanroom protocol.
  • Ensure complete and accurate layout information in the database, and documentation for standards and guidelines.
  • Coordinate with Site OPC to define site area strategy and execution of setup.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • Master’s degree/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering Degree. Lean trained or Lean certified
  • Minimum 7 years working experience in the related environment.
  • Preferably PJM certification (e.g. IPMA, PMP).
  • Relevant experience in the manufacturing process (preferably Semicon), and Layout Planning will be an advantage.
  • Self-driven, result-oriented and possess strong analytical skills.
  • Able to work with cross-functional teams and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.
