We are looking for people who are keen to try something new: Reporting to the Head of Business Operations, Southeast Asia, the Order Fulfillment Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end Order Processing and Management Process.

He or she will lead and manage the Order Fulfilment Team in providing back-office support to the business units, ensuring customers’ orders and requirements are fulfilled per contractual agreement and in compliance.

Your role:
  • Accountable for the E2E Order Fulfilment Process chain from CRM quotation verification to invoicing to customer.
  • Oversee the order fulfillment process ensuring orders are processed in accordance with ZEISS’s customer service standards.
  • Lead in projects to drive productivity, improve working capital and costs avoidance, etc.
  • Accountable for inventory accuracy, ensure discrepancies are resolved and corrective action is implemented.
  • Supervise inbound & outbound activities to ensure service providers provide excellent support on customs clearance and on time delivery.
  • Responsible for Export Control, ensure compliance to import and export regulations for all shipment from/to different countries where logistic movements are required.
  • Ensure all operations documents are well-maintained for audit purposes.
  • Work closely with sales and operations teams towards customer service excellence.
  • Manage consignment stock at sites and monitor on the progress of goods return (if applicable).
  • Support Sales & Service staff and provide information on deliveries, service scheduling, etc.
  • Management of Order Fulfillment team to ensure proper training and guidance.
  • Ensure all orders are timely and accurately processed in system.
  • Lead the bi-annual stock counts in the external warehouse.
  • Build credibility and trust with internal and external customers by interacting with customers and with a high degree of responsiveness.
  • Apply business and process knowledge to manage / recommend alternate courses of action in handling day-to-day operations / problem-solving.
  • Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
  • Ensure Global initiatives are supported and all measurements are in placed to meet these goals.
Key Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in order processing, sales support, customer service and / or inventory management or order fulfillment. At least 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Manage the total company logistics, distribution and shipping for all inbound and outbound to deliver high customer service level.
  • Experienced in direct customer and managing relationship with 3PL warehouse partner for 3rd party order processing and performance evaluation.
  • Strong knowledge in SAP SDMM and MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge/Experience in Import / Export transactions or International trade is an advantage.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Process driven with attention to detail.
  • Business acumen and pragmatic.
  • Team player with people management skills.
  • Accountability and reliability.
