Panagora Group, a woman-owned small business providing novel and integrated solutions in global health and international development, is supporting USAID/Indonesia to implement its 2020-2025 Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) through a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Platform (MEL-P) Activity. MEL-P provides its services through five components: 1) monitoring support services, 2) designing and conducting performance and impact evaluations, 3) providing research, assessment, and data analysis, 4) providing consulting and advisory services and logistical support services, and 5) initiating collaboration, learning, and adapting activities.


Under Component 4, MEL-P seeks administrative support professionals to support event planning and executing a one-day USAID Higher Education Partnerships Conference in October 2022.Individuals will support the event Team Lead with event planning, organizing, and executing the event activities and logistics in close coordination with USAID, USAID implementing partners, the US Embassy, and Government of Indonesia partners. The support includes:


  • Assisting the event team lead with planning, organizing and executing the event
  • Assisting Team Lead to successfully complete required administrative tasks and logistics associated with the conference before, during, and after the event
  • Focusing on the budget, finance and procurement of services, and anything else needed. Coordinating with the Photography and Videography Lead to ensure the availability of equipment and services required for the event such as high-speed wifi and audio-visual equipment.
  • Focusing on supporting the team lead with event logistics such as planning registration, seating arrangements of participants, meals, coffee breaks, and organizing simultaneous interpretation for all seasons as required including booth/equipment (English and Indonesia), and more. Ensuring the conference remains in compliance with GOI COVID protocol and ensuring accommodation to enable participation for persons with disabilities ( e.g. provide option for sign language interpreter)




Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree is required.
Prior Work Experience: Two years of progressive experience in a professional setting, preferably with experience in event planning and//or working with GOI or various stakeholders in Jakarta.
Language Proficiency: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an English-speaking environment and to handle multiple tasks with close attention to details
