The position is responsible for contributing to the data strategy for the Enterprise and for providing technical architecture and delivery of the target state. These architectures and implementations result in centralized data models, monetizable data services and analytics that enable business to make data-driven decisions. Key responsibilities:
  • Play a driver role in implementing strategic Data Architecture roadmap in alignment with Broadridge business and standards
  • Explore world-wide products of Broadridge and the business data that those products consume and generate, and Develop semantically rich, and extensible data models.
  • Build centralized Data as a Service platform that scales for changing needs
  • Identify trending technologies and ways to address current and future Data needs, evaluating their applicability and fitment
  • Contribute to defining/Refining standards that keep Broadridge compliant to businesses across the globe
  • Contribute to refining Non-functional requirements and architectures to satisfy availability, extensibility, and resiliency needs
  • Work with discrete product teams and derive Ontology models and develop Analytic solutions that enable Business to take informed decisions.
  • Design, Develop and Deploy planet scale Data based solutions on cloud
  • Bring in thought leadership in the technical space through researching and knowing industry trends as well as cutting edge tools and technologies
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in the capacity of Enterprise Architect or Data Architect, with extensive experience leading Data Architecture across organization.
  • Strong experience in Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Database architectures, design patterns, best practices, and programming techniques around relational modelling, dimensional modelling and data integration
  • Dependable Data Background, Data Warehousing, Hands-on experience in Big Data Stack.
  • Deep understanding of Performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience on NoSQL Databases and AWS.
  • Working experience on Snowflake and Redshift
  • Experience in Data streaming and messaging tools and integrations
  • Cognizance of Teradata, Deep hands-on skills in Oracle/SQL/PLSQL.
  • Experience on ETL Tools - Informatica/Glue etc.
  • Experience in Agile programming
  • 8+ years of strong hands-on experience in the relevant area, and relevant educational background
