Creating an intelligent buy plan at SKU level after analyzing all stock related KPIs
Design and manage assortment and range plan for new products or refresh the range plan for existing categories if needed.
Manage the order file to deliver accurate data at any given time
Manage the stock allocation & replenishment if necessary
Identify the bestsellers and slow movers and taking appropriate action so as to meet business objectives
Manage & track the OTB plan, esp. spend vs approved OTB budget
Manage and track global purchases vs Supplier’s commitment
Monitor overall stock health KPIs like stock cover, range availability, dead stock at SKU level and create alert mechanisms
Monitor purchase orders and shipping tracker to make sure all shipments will be on time
Analyze the promotions conducted by the Brand Team
Set initial pricing for each SKU on the required margin once new products launched and get the brand team confirmation on same.
Co-ordinate with internal teams like Brand Team, Sales Team, Warehouse, other channels including ecomm to ensure smooth conduct of business
Liaise with shipping to ensure timely and cost-efficient deliveries of merchandise from the principal
Liaise with finance to ensure timely raising of POs and tracking of credit notes from the brand principal, if any
Liaise with the brand principal to share routine reports on business performance
Visit stores if necessary, at least once a month
Requirements:
Bachelor degree holder any field.
Minimum 5 year experience in Merchandising & Planning skills, Project Management, Analytical Skills with an Accounting back group
High comfort level with MS Office, esp. Power Point and Word.
Advanced/Intermediate Excel Skills: ability to handle large set of complex data and model it as per requirement. Well versed with Excel pivots, and functions like VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, SUMIF, SUMIFS, INDEX, MATCH.
Added advantage if have prior experience with data-warehouse, SAP, business planning tools.
