The Bedbank business unit is leading Hotelbeds Group charge to reshape travel. It contracts, connects and efficiently distributes a differentiated portfolio of +100,000 hotels to leading travel trade industry partners including online travel agencies (OTAs), retail agencies, tour operators and airlines. JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Contract Manager works within the Bedbank division of Hotelbeds Group and develops and establishes the best relationships with hotel suppliers so that we are their preferred wholesaler. The Contract Manager ensures the product is negotiated with the best conditions on rate and inventory, to position itself as a market leader
This role reports to the Area Contracting Manager.
Each contracting manager has a hotel portfolio assigned and handles own portfolio.
Specific Duties:
Ensure the new company focus is being fully communicated, coordinated and the partner of choice message is being utilized when trading with Hotels.
Running, monitoring and analyzing weekly and monthly reports with a clear focus on increasing profit and room night production.
Build a strong foundation and relationships with hotels via effective and frequent communication, face-to-face as well as telematics.
Ability to convince hotels of special contracting deals, promotions, and offers to gain a better position in the destination and obtain a higher market share.
Will be required to represent the company with a professional image at all times and to promote the company image and growth via meeting with Hoteliers, suppliers, networking and attending travel trade shows.
Contracting, negotiating and trading with Hotels in several destinations. Analyze and manage the best Contracting options for the company.
Follow up the risk contracts that the company can have in the destination, and take the right decisions to avoid any loss.

Excellent knowledge of the destination and the suppliers of the area that will be assigned, with (2) two years of experience in that destination.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma and/or GED is required. Minimum Associates Degree and/or at least (2) two to (3) years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Excellent ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Excellent ability to write simple correspondence. Excellent ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
