Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage Platform Support Team
Effectively communicate with all related parties to resolve incidents and problems
Find alternative solutions/workaround to resume services while doing root-cause analysis to find the problem
Work with other teams to close the incidents/problems
Manage implementation of solution for problems to production (analyze, build, test, deploy) within the SLA
Manage, track, and monitor progress of incident and fixing
Manage vendors and resources
Implementation of Incident and Problem Management
Analyze incident and perform incident resolution within agreed SLA
Investigate root-cause of the problem and perform remediation
Propose solution as part of problem management
Using agile approach in solution delivery where possible
Manage delivery/stability team to resolve production issues and bugs as per agreed target date
Manage versions on software code management tools between production version, development version, production fix version, etc.
Ensure Quality of Solution
Review and merge source code from team members (staffs and non-staffs)
Manage source code versioning and apply branching and release strategies on source code management tools
Optimize design, reuse or research new model / framework, support standard programming platform, deliver high quality software and improve service management
Continuously review the process and propose changes for improvement
Ensure delivery team complies with all procedures including required documentation
Manage Team
Coach and share knowledge to team members
Build the team capability and organize team’s roster
Conduct regular review meeting with team
Support team members to resolve problems / issues
Maintain good relationship with team members and vendors
Regularly review vendor resources and provide feedbacks to resources and vendors
Job Specification:
Qualification:
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Having knowledge of Agile development process and technology
Having knowledge of best practices on development technology
Able to speak English and write reports in English
Experience:
Minimum 6 years of experience in IT
Minimum 3 years of experience in application development / delivery/support
Have detailed working knowledge on micro services, java, web/mobile, jboss
Experience in workflow /backend process is an advantage
Knowledge and Skill:
Critical thinking
Problem solving, able to evaluate, analyse and solve problems
Good knowledge on how technology affects the business
Fast learner
