KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The key responsibility of this role is to develop new business under the Entrepreneur Resorts brand, with a focus on great client experiences and profitable growth through implementing marketing initiatives, leading the sales team and driving both local and international bookings while managing costs.
Business Development
Be a sales and revenue ‘hunter’, driving growth and ensuring strong profit margins
Develop a strong pipeline of potential guests and prospective partners, ensuring that our locations maintain a high occupancy rate at all times
Take charge of large deals, leading by example; the general manager should be closing sales/bookings as well as leading the sales/reservations/operations teams
Work with the sales department to ensure multi revenue streams and sales are conducted in the most compelling way
Develop strategies to drive sales, increase revenue and grow brand awareness for both lodges as well as new acquisitions as they are integrated into the portfolio
Sales/Marketing Management
Oversee and lead all promotional campaigns and coordinate with the marketing and sales departments to develop and implement strategies and engagement through social media and traditional marketing channels.
Promote daily and weekly specials to generate incremental revenue and oversee key monthly and quarterly events in conjunction with Genius Group and based on the UN Sustainable Goals.
Achieve and maintain excellent online reviews (Google, Trip Advisor etc), consistently at a high score.
Monitor, evaluate and audit all promotions and offerings to our guests and build relationships with our partners.
Devise, promote, and implement procedures and strategies to increase revenue and effectively recognize areas of opportunity for cost containment.
Events and Community Engagement
Develop value exchange propositions building community partnerships
Drive and inspire the team to be active in the community and online and to come up with new, fresh and interesting content, events and engagement for Social Media
Attend networking events and be one of our key Ambassadors for Bali
Work with the team and Event Manager overseeing the planning, execution and monitoring of events and workshops across all locations,
Understand the policies, ideologies, and goals of Genius Group and Entrepreneur Resorts Group and contribute to the overall direction.
Accountable for planning, coordinating and managing all employees and delivering a high quality product and service for our members and guests.
Ensure efficient and effective F&B operations along with excellent customer service standards are delivered at all times.
Manage and oversee the FOH employees to respond to guest comments, requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Manage and oversee the BOH employees to ensure that all stock levels, cleaning, food hygiene, preparation and presentation are in line with the agreed standards.
Manage and coordinate with outside vendors and all departments within the property.
Maintain knowledge of all menu items, preparation method/time, ingredients, sauces, portion size, garnishes, presentation and prices on the menu.
Manage and coordinate any and all repairs and maintenance of the lodges and facilities.
Create exceptional guest experiences to drive repeat and return business through customer engagement, outstanding food and beautiful surroundings.
To ensure that food service is always efficient and effective, and facilities conform and comply with the regulatory hygiene and sanitary requirements, with excellent customer service and service recovery procedures.
To coordinate and conduct daily staff briefing and roll calls so as to provide information on venue promotions, events, VIPs, etc.
Human Resources
Manage all Human Resources responsibilities within the property, to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning processes that encompass the company’s diversity commitment; compliance with company policies/labour law and legal requirements
Manage employees to ensure they are alert to all their duties and adhere to Company policies and procedures regarding; health, safety, the property, and welfare of the members and guests
Ensures all employees are aligned and delivering the Genius Group Culture Code
Financial Management
Create an annual marketing calendar. On a quarterly basis, prepare the Promotion (Business) plans, Project Map (Marketing plan), set up P&L, daily revenue reporting (BHR), petty cash management, purchasing controls and revenue forecast numbers to meet and exceed the company goals and budget.
Exercise cost controls for all aspects of lodge, restaurant and bar operation. Maintaining low wastage levels through good inventory management, accurate recording and active monitoring.
Achieve monthly sales targets and report daily sales of the property to the group management through the daily revenue (BHR) report.

Strive to achieve a 70%+ occupancy rate and develop the Entrepreneur Resort brand throughout the region.
Manage all costings, profits and budgets across the properties ensuring consistent targets of revenue and margins are achieved
Work closely with the Finance team and external auditors to ensure the company finances and taxes are accurate and up to date
Produce and submit monthly Manager P&L reports with an overview of revenue, expenses, operation costs, net profit, issues, concerns, improvements and targets
Oversee all purchases, invoices and transactions, ensuring all financial data and reports are up to date
Motivate and train the team to outperform designated daily, weekly and monthly targets
Develop a mutually rewarding relationship with clients, team and external partners
