BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of experience in a senior leadership role in Business Planning, Operations, Strategy, Finance, Business Development, or other related fields
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Math, Computer Science, or related field
Exhibits sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results
Experience managing strategic projects and demonstrated ability to get buy-in from key stakeholders (leading initiatives from inception through execution)

Job summary
Amazon Web Services ("AWS") enables customers of all sizes to run their applications on Amazon’s industry-leading cloud computing infrastructure. This growth is driving the need for an experienced leader on the ASEAN team to fill a high impact role.

As a Country Operations and Strategy Manager for Indonesia and Vietnam, and a part of the AWS ASEAN team, you will lead our day to day Country Operations and Strategy initiatives in Indonesia and Vietnam. Working hand in glove with our Country Manager(s) and as a part of the Country Leadership team, you will have an exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally and cross-geographically to identify problems and gaps, collect and analyze data, generate insights, and come up with solutions. You will execute on your proposed business strategies to solve difficult problems and remove blockers for our customers and our business in the Country. To do so, you will need to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders such as sales, operations, product, and marketing teams. You will gain a unique insight into the internal workings of the world’s fastest growing billion dollar IT organization, as you learn and explore your passion.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

A master’s degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge of cloud computing and AWS services
Experience working and leading a key role within a high-growth startup, technology company or consulting firm
