Job Description

Lead the "Continuous Improvement" initiatives in Indonesia, and represent the company in APAC forums. The Quality Engineer will aid the supporting function in all area quality, including goods in and dispatch and effective customer related concern management.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Adhere to Safety procedure and policies in accordance with safety management system. Including:

• Active participation and contribution to specific safety initiatives in meetings.
• Report all hazardous and unsafe acts.
• Actively promote positive safety culture.

2. Adhere to Quality procedure and policies in accordance with the Integrated ISO Management System (9001; 14001; 45001) (where applicable) quality assurance system. Including:

• Compliance to work instructions.
• Raising corrective actions for all non-conformances.
• Identifying areas requiring improvement and / or audit

3. To Communicate team about activity of HIRA, local EHS rules and Regulations application such as :

• Incident investigation methodologies to identify root causes, corrective
• and preventive actions
• Perform hazard identification, risk assessment and control measures
• Conduct EHS related trainings and toolbox talks
• Should be able to identify PPE requirements and implement PPE
• program
• Carry out aspect-impact identification, operational controls and management programs

4. To prepare and provide the commercial aspects of the bidding, CSMS Document which is consists of procedures for initial contract start-up activities with Health and Safety concerned at site/work.
5. To ensure on-time document submission of compliant and commercially sound bids.
6. To Manage safe condition of member in each area / department
7. To inform about quantity of member in each department
8. To direct member in one location assembly point if happen emergency condition
9. To perform quality control on each manufactured good and to ensure its compliance with the company standards.
10. To perform workshop administration.
11. To control spare part / tooling inventory and usage.
12. To schedule maintenance and repair of workshop equipment
13. To ensure the disposal domestic & hazardous waste in to bucket suitable with color (Black for metal, red for hazardous material, blue for non-organic and orange for organic)
14. Authorize To reject quality, if the result of product is not complied with the company standard.
15. Authorize to recommend equipment vendor for spare part procurement.
16. To immediately and clearly inform the development of emergency condition to safety Officer
17. To coordinate evacuation activity for all personnel in emergency condition location, which include safe evacuation personnel and priority for personnel to be evacuated.
18. Other duties as assigned

The Individual

• Minimum Education required (specific field or equivalent): Bachelor degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent filed
• Minimum years of experience in role: Minimum 2 years (bachelor degree) and 5 years (for Diploma) of working experience in pumps, mechanical seals or other rotating equipment
• Preferred Technical Knowledge and Skills (if any): Has experience working in pumps, mechanical seals or other rotating equipment
