The Role

Industrial engineering to support production in organization & efficiency

You are responsible for

  • Lead or take part in factory level improvement projects, kaizen events etc,.
  • Able to work with different levels of management and ensure implimentation of operational excellence initiatives across whole factory.
  • Lead operational excellence team and prepare the organization for operational excellence assessments and audits.
  • Define process improvements and ensure that it is being carried out by the respective team members.
  • To do simulation modeling and advise on alternative concepts.
  • Applies lean manufacturing principles
  • Developing, supports robust equipment & maintenance plans and applies new technologies in factories
  • Employs equipment, practices and procedures which promote a healthy, safe and secure work environment.
  • Good knowledge of Data Analytic to support Industry 4.0 model factory in the area of data analytic (IIoT) will be added advantage.
  • Candidate required to have good knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Executes the processes and standards with embedded quality into the way of working including adherence to compliance with safety, cost regulatory and environmental requirements as well as local laws, Philips General Business principles and other policies.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • S1 degree preferably in Industrial Engineering
  • Has a related experience of at least 5 years
  • Experience in leading a team is an advancement
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office usage
  • Able to speak and communicate in English
  • Process mapping and analytical skills
  • AutoCAD, solid works and visio experience for simulation modelling is preferred
