Work you will do
As part of Deloitte Consulting Southeast Asia’s HR Operation team, which delivers strategy and execution to our fast growing management consulting practice, you will help through the following:
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reduce legal risks, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (eg, coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary action).
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve working relationships and retention.
  • Provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies to the staff.
  • Participate in monitoring of training programs to ensure success and follow up to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Actively involved in Talent & Initiative programs (SEA & Country).
  • Actively involved in HR initiatives
  • Performs other HR Operations duties assigned.

If you are someone with:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resource or related field
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employee and union relations, diversity and state respective employment laws.
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to handle people tactfully and sensitively.
  • Able to work independently or team, manage multiple and often conflicting priorities.
  • Drive, tenacity, client focused and results oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
