About the Role
If you are passionate about creating real business impact with the power of insights, you are in for a treat! As our researcher, you’ll be an instrumental cog in the Residence Research team at Gojek that directly impacts the company’s direction and decision on how to improve our products and our business performance. You will be working on our Logistics product, Sustainability initiatives, and many more interesting subject matters. Your main objectives will be to plan and execute research projects and present them to stakeholders. Your manager will work with you to develop your skills and knowledge and to ensure the quality of the research. Product managers, Business Strategists and Designers will be your main companions during this ride. Best yet, you’ll have the opportunity to flex your quantitative, qualitative research skills, getting us even closer as a thinking partner and navigator for our stakeholders.
What You Will Do
Plan and conduct research related to product development including explorative research, concept testing, card sorting, and usability testing
Do research related to business strategy, including UAT, pricing studies, foundational research, industry trend analysis
Build relationships with stakeholders and understand their research questions by attending, initiating and engaging in meetings and discussions
Develop research plan (including ensuring objectives, determining sample design, frameworks, timeline and what method to use) with medium-low supervision from manager
Execute research independently
Synthesize and build the report and present it to stakeholders with medium - low supervision
Present and discuss research results with stakeholders
Be active in design reviews and product walkthroughs
What You Will Need
At least 1+ years of experience as a researcher
Experience in research related to digital products
Experience in quantitative research, and also qualitative research
Great communication skill in English
Great analytical and desk research skill
About the Team
Gojek Research & Insights team has 90+ researchers spread across multiple products and platforms. The Residence Research team works with the Logistics, Loyalty, Sustainability, and Groceries Product groups to aid in the development and execution of overall business strategy, product design, marketing, and communication. Our approach combines strong research technical skills, deep domain expertise on tech products, and analytical thinking. As a multidisciplinary team, we are working to deliver insights and recommendations by ways of merging qualitative, quantitative, analytical, and business research.
The Residence Research team is filled with people who love movies and competitive games among many other things. Every week we hold a team lunch where we go through movie and song recommendations, or simply play games to prepare ourselves for the big competitions at the end of the weekly Research all-hands.
