Supports the Cushman & Wakefield Micron client account based in San Jose, CA. This role will implement and monitor of Environment, Health, Safety (EHS) policies, procedures and best practices. Requires presence within facilities to ensure EHS practices are implemented. Partners with Facilities Management in creating and maintaining a positive and safe workplace
Job Description
Monitors federal, state, and local regulations (CAL OSHA) for impact and effective application for C&W and Micron.
Conducts regular audits for identification of facility/jobsite hazards and risks to prevent EHS impacts and to ensure compliance with customer-specific standards.
Communicates and supports Micron’s EHS policies and performance to internal stakeholders.
Oversees the Cushman & Wakefield Contractor/Supplier EHS Qualification system.
Monitors and evaluates contractor safety including, but construction and related projects
Reviews contractor pre-task plans and Job Safety Analysis and provide feedback as necessary.
Develops and implements Health & Safety processes and coordinates with Property and Facility Managers.
Train and assists with the completion (Audits, Behavior Based Safety reviews, etc.)
Assists with investigating incidents to identify the root cause and prevent future reoccurrence.
