As a Distributor Account Manager, you will be responsible for sales of products/systems/services within a designated market in accordance with strategy, in Electrification in Jakarta, Indonesia. Reporting to the Sales Manager – Channel Sales, you will build long term customer relationships, growth and manage resolution to distributor needs and issues. You will also identify and develop sales opportunities.

Your responsibilities

  • Selling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for assigned Business Area/Product Groups
  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/services offering, and align to provide a solution and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
  • Preparing sales plans using company tools, performing regular status reviews, and proposing recovery plans in cases of potential order shortfalls
  • Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniques
  • Providing systems and creating partner management, monthly reporting of estimate
  • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
  • Managing a portfolio of distributor within the LV and MV market Indonesia region, willing to frequent travelling across the domestic coverage
  • Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager and ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.

Your background

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales & Marketing within MV/LV product.
  • Sound understanding of MV, LV products, and market technology process.
  • Must be a highly motivated person with technical sales skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills, communication skills, account management, and relationship-building skills.
