Job Purpose and Impact
The Documentation & Transport Supervisor will lead and provide direction to local transportation and logistic teams, oversee the day to day transportation and logistics operational activities across a region that includes multiple product lines. In this role, you will lead, advise and make decisions on all major logistics and transportation activities including data management, reporting and analysis, shipment execution, client interaction, business partnership, people, resource and project management. Key Accountabilities
Support development and deployment of the transportation and logistics vision and strategy to include creation of contract alliances within a respective market.
Assist and support operational activities for the transportation and logistics team such as spot sourcing, capacity location, freight booking, delivery tracking and transport related incident resolution.
Gather, synthesize and analyze data and prepare reports and presentations to communicate transportation performance and metrics and drive continuous improvement.
Maintain an excellent level of market awareness across the region where business units operate and lead the communication towards our partners.
Lead continuous improvement projects and participate in cross functional and cross regional projects.
Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Experience in commercial transportation, transportation procurement, forwarding and bulk cargo transportation
Other minimum qualifications may apply Preferred Qualifications
Have 1-3 year of supervisory experience
Knowledge of Supply Chain Management Software (Enterprise Resource Planning, TMS, Fleet Management)
Understanding of Supply Chain Management Procedures, Logistics Skills
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in any major or equivalent.
