Job Description

  • To Lead operation of Betaine Surfactant and Specialties Unit, including Raw Material, Packaging, Finished Good and Dispatch
  • Responsible on factory service levels, efficiencies, quality compliance, OSHE compliance and cost compliance
  • Ensure output reliability 100% and > 100% Capacity Utilization at all times
  • Evaluate the production performance and products as well as make repairs and adjust operating conditions to ensure the quantity and quality of product are met.
  • Ensuring Cost of Conversion meeting the agreed target, and develop continuously opportunity for saving and optimization
  • Perform confirmation in SAP production and coordination with other departments for smooth production and completeness of documentation.
  • Conduct operational shift activities in the unit betaine plant and verify the implementation of standard operating procedures correctly.
  • Responsible for SHE and Process Safety of UOI Operation in Unit Surfactant and Specialties, and ensuring as 1st priority
  • To lead and ensuring UOI Surfactant and Specialties meeting SHE , Process Safety, Regulation compliance, Quality requirement, site security, ensuring zero tolerance and incident free operation
  • To achieve Supply Unit result, ensuring 100% output reliability
  • Drive customer service mindset in Factory operation and all team member
  • Develop high performance, empowered teams to support talent requirements of UOI / wider Unilever
  • Lead employee relation and ensuring high engagement levels in unit
  • Prepare environmental impact and safety assessments as well as creating and maintaining a work environment that is clean, tidy and safe at all times.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimal Bachelor's degree in chemical industry/ chemical engineering/ electrical engineering/ mechanical engineering/ chemistry/ industrial engineering background from a reputable University
  • Must have at least 3 years of working experience in Betaine manufacturing
  • Capable to calculate the data thoroughly and accurately
  • Have high integrity, honestly, high motivation, good interpersonal skills
  • Can work well alone and in team
  • Safety and Quality Oriented
  • Has good analytical thinking
  • Good Leadership, Management and Organization skills
  • Demonstrated high level of problem-solving ability to make decisions independently
  • Demonstrated excellence in priority setting and execution skills
  • Able to handle multiple priorities
  • Required languages: English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Capable to operate Ms Windows, Ms Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing to be place in North Sumatera
