Job Description

Our client is building a 400 MW CCGT power plant in Indonesia and they are currently looking for a Transmission and Distribution Manager who will be based at site and responsible for the 150 kV transmission and distribution package: engineering, SLDs, equipment specification and selection, etc, all interfaces and terminal points, schedules, managing construction and commissioning, as well as ensuring effective document and information exchange between all internal and external stakeholders

Experience required:

1) Minimum 10 years project and technical management experience of HV switchyards and transmission systems, of which at least 5 years in a similar or equivalent position.
2) A thorough understanding of the project cycle, the ability to prioritise activities and to drive it to completion and to anticipate pinch points.
3) Very good knowledge of SLDs, HV switchgear and substations, HV specifications and protection, able to read and understand technical documentation and to make an expert evaluation thereof.
4) Experienced in planning and executing project, construction and commissioning activities.
5) Hands-on experience of commissioning systems and equipment in HV T&D systems.
6) Good knowledge of HV, transmission and HSE codes and standards.

This is a project based role and all contracts will be on 12 months renewable basis
