Job Description

  • Drive innovation on strategy, analytics practice and systems improvement
  • Managing technical teams of data engineering, science and BI with relevant applications including big data solutions, machine learning capabilities and BI tools
  • Develop and manage data governance in order to drive business growth
  • Build procedures and policies, work closely with cross-functional team to ensure the data assets are used to meet industry's best practices
  • Determine area of continuous improvement and effective cost measures to achieve revenue based performance
  • Communicate effectively on data asset status, value and importance for new initiatives implementation through stakeholders management

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree graduate in computer science, information technology, economics, statistics/mathematics or other related field from reputable university are preferred
  • Excellent technical skills to demonstrate in all areas of data practice including data engineering (pipeline and data warehouse management), data science and advanced analytics
  • Proficient in data technologies including Hadoop, Teradata, Cloud-based infrastructure, etc.
  • Passionate in research and development in data practices in order to perform quantitative and qualitative analyses across various business functions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, able to switch between technical and plain language when discussing work and stakeholder management
  • Vast knowledge in identifying and achieving key metrics that measures the health of business in a longer run
  • Proactive in taking initiatives, exceptional problem solving skills, strong pressence to manage cross-functional teams and execute well in a highly collaborative role
