Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with stakeholders to ensure subject matter experts input and review sub-ledger work stream deliverables.
Work closely with the other project team, including the Data, Systems, and Actuarial work streams where the delivery of work-stream requires multi-disciplinary collaboration
Build and manage relationships with key local contacts / stakeholders
Working closely with regional work-stream teams to support them in syndicating, validating and implementing finance processes in the individual LBUs
Key accountabilities:
Understanding the functionalities and the implications of the IFRS 17 solutions built
Being involved in the functional and User Acceptance testing
Perform analysis of the IFRS 17 results to ensure the reasonableness of the numbers
Preparing the transition to the IFRS 17 finance reporting process
Manage the dependency with the other workstreams/ departments
Job Requirements:
Bachelor graduate in Accounting, Finance or other related disciplines
Possess good knowledge and experience in IFRS 17 (Required for M/ SM level)
A strong leader with a proven track record on large scale projects within a highly complex hierarchy/functional organisation across multiple jurisdictions.
Solid experience in insurance life/ general insurance.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills – experience working with senior executives is preferred.
Comfortable working with uncertainty, highly adaptable.
Possessing SUN GL experience is preferable
Fluent in both spoken and written English
