Job Description

Reel is a subscription-based design service that helps startups worldwide get graphic design tasks done 24 hours.

About the role
Reel is currently looking for creative, talented, and motivated freelance graphic designers to join our fully distributed team and get flat daily pay to create incredible designs for our clients.

The ideal candidate should be talented but able to understand our clients' expectations who are startups founders across the world who love beautiful and minimal designs. If you are startup curious like us and want to design the logo of the next unicorn, you are gradely welcome to join us.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Translate Reel's client needs and brand strategies into design strategies
  • Collaborate with Reel's clients to deliver top-notch quality on assigned projects
  • Design visual concepts using graphic design tools and software
  • Determine the project's scope and understand what they want Reel's clients' proposed communications to look like
  • Create or incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications
  • Produce drafts for Reel's client's review and make revisions/incorporate changes based on the feedback received
  • Deliver high-quality design works on a minimum of 5 assigned projects per day
  • Respect due time and maintain consent communication with your assigned Reel's clients exclusively via our internal communication tools
  • Maintain a good reputation on the platform by being rated higher than 4/5, and respect the mandatory 24 hours output on each assigned request
  • Collaborate effectively with the Reel team, including admins, design quality controllers, project managers, and lead designers
Qualifications
  • Get excited when someone talks about startups and unicorns
  • 1-3 years of experience in graphic design
  • Good interpersonal skills and client-handling experience
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Ai, PS, and Indd) and other design software such as Sketch and Figma
  • Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills, and design skills
  • Good English communication and comprehension skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Be customer friendly
  • Team player
  • Have a sense of humor
Requirements
  • Work from home on your own schedule
  • Achieve the daily target in terms of design projects completion
  • Maintain excellent communication with clients
  • Follow Reel's quality control procedures while contributing to our team's culture
  • Understand the balance between perfect design and getting to market
  • Have a high-speed and consistent internet connection (not less than 20MBPS, with backups)
  • Have excellent knowledge of collaboration and productivity tools like Trello, Slack, Notion, Ruttl, Loom, and Zoom
  • Own a reliable computer that meets these requirements: * Has a working web camera installed for application
  • Video conferences/meetings
  • Installed Adobe Creative Suite
