agilon health is looking for an Operations Manager who will plan and oversee the staff and operations related to processes for our medical record chart retrieval program, provider feedback program, provider educational program and provider promotion and relations. These programs will include the receipt, data entry, scanning, tracking including status reports and presentations for the Medicare Advantage payers and oversight boards. You'll coordinate and analyzes program processes to direct more efficient operations, enhance decision-making, and create external reporting and serve as liaison between department and internal staff and/or external parties as appropriate. You'll also plan and execute provider communications strategies with new business development leadership.
Monitors program milestones and critical dates, scopes, cost and quality to identify potential delays and risks. Initiates ways to resolve issues, keeping the management team aware of the situation and progress.
Translates high level business requirements into operational directives and work assignments for department staff.
Manages department personnel to include hiring, training, evaluating, rewarding, disciplining and, if necessary, terminating employees in compliance with company policies and protocol.
Ensures smooth functioning of department and timely completion of tasks/assignments, which may include providing back up to department staff. Consistently delivers positive results, following tasks through from start to finish.
Standardizes procedures and processes including documentation for departmental operating procedures.
Coordinates and communicates with appropriate personnel within and outside of the department as appropriate.
Serves as a resource person in areas of data management and reporting related to the HCQ program.
Makes presentations to report on project status, conduct problem resolution and other types of communication to a variety of audiences.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university (IT or Healthcare degree preferred); or four or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3 + years supervisory/management.
Experience with government programs, especially Medicare Advantage Plans.
Excellent PC and data management/analysis skills.
Experience in Microsoft Office Window’s based applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
Ability to learn and become an internal expert at using company’s proprietary database.
