Job Responsibilities :

  • Manage tickets, authorized line, specifications, manning, capacity vs requirements, and the limitations of the machines and equipment schedule
  • Manage schedule based on the tire manufacturing process, machines and equipment specification & capacity, and manning requirement
  • Make sure that tickets are achievable, efficient, and in line with business plans in terms of tires & tonnage per day by analyzing ticket proposals and providing recommendations discussion with the Production and MDD Manager
  • Analyze situations, pinpoint bottleneck areas, and work with Production Control staff, Business Team & Production Managers to solve scheduling and performance problems
  • Make sure that all machines & equipment are scheduled in line with the final objective, i.e. meeting the monthly ticket
  • Communicate plans and performances to all associates/departments concerned
  • Coordinate productivity improvement, operating cost improvement programs, and other information gathering and report generation as directed or as will be beneficial to plant operation, efficient utilization of personnel and maximize quality output at the lowest possible cost.
  • Provide plant management with information, studies and recommendations that are needed for improvement in the utilization of personnel and facilities to maximize quality output at lowest possible cost
  • Commit to protecting the environment, health, and safety of our associates, customers, and the communities where we operate


Job Qualifications :

  • University graduate preferably with an Engineering background
  • At least 1 year of experience in Production Planning and Inventory Control (PPIC)
  • At least 1-2 year experience in tire industry such as tire manufacturing process, manufacturing systems and limitations, machine line-up and capability and specifications
  • Knowledgeable in operating cost and budget estimation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Application (e.g. Excel)
  • Strong planning, analytical, and monitoring skills
  • Proficient in written and verbal English communication
  • Ability to communicate with various levels in the organization
