Project Overview
Bechtel Equipment Operations, Inc. (BEO), a wholly owned Bechtel affiliate company, functions as the construction equipment asset manager of Bechtel Group and is actively engaged in projects across all of Bechtel's business lines. In support of its involvement, BEO uses sophisticated estimating and scheduling systems to assist projects in developing bid proposals, equipment lease versus purchase analysis, tool and consumable utilization forecasts, scaffold estimating and supply, and overall construction fleet utilization plans. Headquartered in Sugar Land, Texas, BEO also manages several permanent global equipment storage and support facilities.
Position Overview
Performs acquisitions, including bidder prequalification, developing bidder lists, bid solicitation, bid analysis, negotiation and commitment of purchase orders, contracts, software and equipment rental agreements. Performs administration of purchase orders and contracts following commitment and expenditures, commercial and technical requirements and performance. May develop and monitor pro-forma documents for both domestic and international projects, requires modifications approved by Legal Department depending on project or location requirements. Participates in the planning of acquisition activities. Support to a worldwide regional business line.
