Job Description

Senior Web Developer
As a Full Stack Senior Web Developer at SiteMinder, working alongside colleagues in Sydney and Manila you will work on our websites SiteMinder.com and LittleHotelier.com that are built on WordPress, landing pages and emails built in Marketo, and using Vue.js to build web applications.

As a Senior Web Developer, your primary responsibilities will include:

Create new website experiences by amending, editing, and creating new pages, components, plugins, themes and templates in WordPress
Support marketing campaign activities by amending, editing and creating landing pages and emails in Marketo
Produce quality code by documenting enhancements and maintaining/syncing with the GitHub repository
Ensure the website works for all visitors by writing code according to design specifications and performing cross browser/device testing
Supporting SEO, Performance, and Accessibility requirements through appropriate development decisions

The ideal candidate will possess:

Proven experiences in delivering and maintaining customised WordPress websites and themes for a fast moving organisation
Experience in delivering tested, high quality code to design and specification
Excel in web programming languages and technology such as:
Frontend- HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6, Webpack), jQuery and Vue.JS
Backend - PHP, MYSQL, WordPress Bedrock and Sage
Tech - Git, CLI, NPM and Yarn, Mac and Windows environments
Great English communication skills (written and verbal)
